This
is a background study class. Despite
what you see in the lectures, you are not required to hand in the
homework. The homework assignments and the
solutions will be provided to you and you are encouraged to do them. Similarly, you are not required to take the
mid-term exams, but you may take them on your own. Only the final exam is graded. A 70 % or better is required for a grade of
“pass.”
